Ok, this is an unfinished page that will be completed after the car is completed.  Hopefully I'll be able to update this page on a weekly basis (or just after I go visit the car).

Home sweet home!!!
.
Here are some details:
  • Joe Campbell (Port Huron) is doing the body work and most of the assembly of the car.  He has been doing a great job on the car!  High quality work and by "normal" restoration standards, extremely fast!  He has shown a lot of dedication to this project and I am very happy with his work.  He is also VERY reasonably priced!  I shudder to think how much I would have spent to have this quality of work done in the amount of time it's been done in by someone else.  If you are interested in Joe quoting your car, feel free to email me at joe@eat-at-joes.net and I'll put you in touch with him.
  • The color will be "Dark Polo Green Metallic".  This color came on special edition Cadillacs from '92 to '95.  It's so dark, that unless it's in bright sunlight, the car will look black.  Joe painted his neighbor's '78 'vette this color.  It looked very sharp.  It'll be darker than my Trans Am.
  • The Ram Air IV block, with the ported/polished Ram Air II heads that I've had since 1990 will be going in the car.  The engine was basically rebuilt in 1990, so all it will need is to be disassembled and put back together.
  • The car will be stock looking inside & out, besides the color and engine compartment.  The headers are going to knock me out of the stock class, but I'm not having this built for awards anyway.  If I can't have fun with it, I might as well just sell it!
